The FWCHP is a comprehensive insurance program provided by People Corporation that covers workers while working in Canada for expenses they may incur related to medical expenses, loss of income, and unexpected death.

Canadian employers are experiencing shortages in the labour market. These shortages are happening because there are not enough Canadian citizens or permanent residents to fill vacant positions. This is becoming more prevalent as many Canadians are reaching retirement age and the birth rate is too low to make up the shortfall.

To cope with this, our Canadian government created the Temporary Foreign Workers Program (TFWP). The TFWP is a program intended to help Canadian employers find workers with highly specialized skills when they are unable to find the appropriate skill set among Canadians or permanent residents.
